4-H Children's Art Exchange Programs

The Michigan 4-H Project, conducted in cooperation with the People’s Republic of China, is a global education program that often uses arts for both in-school and after-school learning experiences.  The project provides Michigan kindergartners through sixth graders a chance to:

• Learn of the many similarities between their lives and the lives of their counterparts half way around the world.
• Gain a sense of being part of one world, whether they live in Lansing, MI, the United States of America, or in Shandong Province in the People’s Republic of China.
• Have a significant learning experience that is both experiential and interdisciplinary (language, social studies, natural science and arts) in design.
